The Brassica Family includes Broccoli, Kale, Cauliflower and various Cabbages.
These vegetables contain good amounts of all the vitamin groups, especially Vitamin C (in broccoli) and soluble fibre. They also contain many nutrients found to have cancer fighting properties. Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium and Zinc are all present in different levels in these vegies.
Best when lightly steamed or ground down into small pieces in a food processor and soaked in beautiful homemade bone broth.
Warning: Brassica family vegies can cause flatulence in some dogs when fed too much!
